NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF PROPOSED BOND ISSUE

BY THE TOWN OF SAINT PAUL, VIRGINIA

The Council of the Town of Saint Paul, Virginia (the “Council”) will hold a public hearing on the proposed issuance of a bond by the Town of Saint Paul. The estimated maximum amount of the bond is $1,000,000. The proposed use of the bond proceeds is to finance costs of capital improvements to the Lyric Theater facility in the Town and pay costs of issuing the bond. The financing is expected to involve a loan of the proceeds to the Industrial Development Authority of the Town of Saint Paul, Virginia, which loan is anticipated to be repaid after construction of the improvements is complete. The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned and at which persons may appear and present their views on the proposed bond issuance, will be held at 5:30 p.m. on September 28, 2021, or as soon after that time as the matter may be heard, before the Council in the Town Hall, located at 16531 Russell Street, Saint Paul, Virginia.
